Cabinet & Public Services

Partnerships and co-operation play an important role in ensuring good governance across the Commonwealth, at a local, regional and national level. This section examines the role of government ministers and the public sector, and suggests ways that they can ensure economic growth and quality service delivery that reaches all communities. Public participation is a crucial factor in achieving this, and so the articles here outline how to promote democracy and increase voting turn-outs. Recommendations are also put forward on methods of taxation to stimulate economic growth, and on the increasing use of public private partnerships (PPPs) as a way of generating development.
